CaseStream Data

Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026

This policy explains what CaseStream Data collects through this website, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using this site you agree to it.

1. Information we collect

Two things: what you send us, and what your browser creates when it loads a page.

  • Information you send us. The sample request form collects your name, firm, email, optional phone number, the counties and case types you choose, whether your firm mails today, and any note you add. Formspree receives the submission and forwards it to our inbox. If you email us instead, we get only what you write.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs: IP address, the page requested, browser user agent, and timestamp. We use them to keep the site secure and running, and for nothing else.
  • Performance measurements. Vercel Speed Insights records how fast each page loads and responds. With each measurement it stores the page address, the page element the measurement relates to, your browser, operating system, device type, connection speed (such as 4g), and country. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address, and cannot link one page view to another or identify you. We use it only to find and fix slow pages.
  • Visitor analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find the site and which pages they read. It records the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, a search or a link), your approximate location, browser, and device, and whether you click a link to email or call us. Google processes this on our behalf under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. They last up to two years, and you can clear or block them in your browser settings. The site carries no other cookies, advertising tags, or tracking pixels. Your browser also stores one local preference named theme, holding the word light or dark so the page matches the appearance you selected. It stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us.

3. How we use information

To answer you. To deliver and support the service you asked for. To keep the site secure. To see which pages and sources bring visitors, so we can improve the site. To meet our own legal and accounting obligations. That is the whole list.

4. Sharing

We share information with the providers who help us operate: our hosting provider, our DNS and email provider, Formspree for the sample request form, Google for site analytics, and — for customers on a plan where we mail for them — the printing and mailing vendor that produces the pieces. They act on our instructions. We will also disclose information when the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent information collected through this website to advertisers or list resellers.

5. Email from us

If you would rather not hear from us, write to hello@casestreamdata.com and we will promptly remove you from all correspondence.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

7. Other sites

This site links to pages we do not control, including the Florida Bar’s published rules. Their privacy practices are their own and this policy does not cover them.

8. Children

This website is intended for attorneys and law firms and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above.
